Fighting Cancer Cells One Tumor At A Time

Welcome back!

August 14, 2020 by Mabih Leave a Comment

Oh my goodness! How long has it been? FIVE MONTHS???

I mean let me get this straight: I haven’t given you any updates from April, May, June July, and August. Let’s do some quick Math, (and that will also allow me to check if I can still count). Recap: April –> August… That’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 months!

That is absolutely bonkers if you ask me and I will never go this long without offering occasional updates again. On another note, if I’m here typing, that means I’m still alive -quick second, let me check… My heart is still beating. Phew… What a relief!

I’m so happy to be here. I’m so happy to see you guys. I’ve missed all of you. Hugs, anyone? Come, come a little closer. Bring it in… I know you’re mad, come anyway…

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

See???? That wasn’t so bad. Now that we’re all caught up, let’s put the past behind us and get on with it.
I made a quick video of some things I wanted to cover. I even made it colorful! (chuckles)

So a few housekeeping rules:

If you would like me to explain/express or give details about any part of my next set of treatments (and posts), or questions about anything in general, feel free to ask me in the ‘comments’ section. I will respond as soon as I can. (And lucky for you, I have great customer service skills so that’s usually within 24 hours. Woohoo!)

If you have a message or a topic you would like me to talk about, please send a message to me on the ‘contact’ page. If not, my posts will continue to tell my story for the last couple of months until we are all caught up! (and ready for our next adventure…). Remember, I promised to give you all the itsy bitsy tips of coping with cancer, getting through cancer, or supporting a friend through cancer, so ever so often you’ll see these sprinkled in here and there!

I can never say this enough: for everyone, known and unknown, who has sent prayers, love, kindness, encouragement, and support -God bless you, and thank you!

In true fashion, I wouldn’t leave without turning up the music in the house a little. Yes, yes! I’m the life of the party!!! (because I said so.) So welcome back! Technically the song is welcoming Mase back, but you can insert [Mabih] every time you hear “Mase”. See? It’s that easy. (By the way, am I the only one who misses all the great hits from back in the ’90s?)

My best line in this song is between 2:46 -2:49. So pause and listen at 2:46. ” Living the ‘vida’ without the ‘loca’ ” After a 5-month hiatus, I am back. (Mase was gone for 5 years, so…🤷‍♂️ )

Enjoy!

I’d love to stay but you’ll be seeing more of me anyway. So we will catch up soon… real soon!

Namaste!

Love and Light and keeping up the (pink) fight,
Mabih

See my next post where I discuss the surgical pain in giving up my girls, Holly and Molly. And yes, I’ll miss the twins!
